Introducing Emily Kaiho

A mysterious drifter (Josh Hartnett) and an ardent young Japanese warrior Yoshi (Gackt) both arrive in a town that is terrorized by outrageous and virulent criminals. Each is obsessed with his separate mission, and guided by the wisdom of The Bartender (Woody Harrelson) at the Horseless Horseman Saloon, the two eventually join forces to bring down the corrupt and contemptuous reign of Nicola (Ron Perlman), the awesomely evil "woodcutter" and his lady Alexandra (Demi Moore), a femme fatale with a secret past. This classic tale is re-vitalized and re-imagined in an entirely fresh visual context, set in a unique world that mixes skewed reality with shadow-play fantasy, a place where even the landscape can betray you. Heroes triumph here only because the force of their will transforms and transcends both space and time. The world of BUNRAKU is past and present, fantasy and reality, Samurai and Western all combined. Like "Sin City" and "300", it gives classic conflict a whole new graphically supercharged dynamic. Resonating through a wide range of cultures and showcasing a mind-blowing array of martial arts disciplines, BUNRAKU is a fresh arena for breath-taking fight action.

Sweet, socially challenged small-town receptionist Alice (Jessica Biel) improbably rises to national prominence when a clumsy workman accidentally implants a huge nail in her brain during what should be an engagement dinner with her handsome, less than trustworthy boyfriend Scott (James Marsden). The foreign metal object causes wild mood swings - and explosive sexual urges! Since Alice doesn't have proper medical insurance, her injury propels her on a crusade to protect the rights of the bizarrely damaged. She heads to Washington and teams up with the handsome, immoral Congressman and full-time opportunist Howard Birdwell (Jake Gyllenhaal), who finds her newly accelerated sexual powers nearly irresistible. Alice's campaign becomes embroiled in the absurdities of legislative corruption, but because Alice is pure of heart and won't take no for an answer, the rights of the "nailed" become a rallying cry; Alice has a future in politics. David O. Russell loves to push back boundaries in his comedies, and this one, conceived in collaboration with a Washington insider, hits the nail on the head for outrageous, bawdy behavior.

44 Inch ChestTitle: 44 Inch Chest
Directed by: Malcolm Venville
Written by: Louis Mellis and David Scinto (Sexy Beast)
Produced by: Steve Golin (Babel, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Being John Malkovich)

Ray Winstone (Sexy Beast, The Departed, Indiana Jones 4)
Ian McShane (Sexy Beast, Agent Cody Banks, Deadwood)

Stephen Dillane (The Hours)
Steven Berkoff (Head in the Clouds, The Krays)
Melvil Poupaud (Speed Racer, Broken English)
Joanne Whalley (Scandal, A Good Man in Africa)

Provocative, outrageously profane and surprisingly tender amidst an explosion of unbridled testosterone, 44 INCH CHEST is a visceral exploration of the masculine ego at breaking point, testing whether fear is stronger than love. Colin (Ray Winstone) is in agony, shattered by his wife’s (Joanne Whalley) infidelity. However, he has friends who do more than stand by - they kidnap the wife's Italian lover (Melvil Poupaud) and hold him prisoner so that Colin can restore his manhood with revenge. Old Man Peanut (John Hurt), is the Biblical patriarch of the group, with a mean streak; Meredith (Ian McShane), is stylish and tough - a fashion victim with a cutting edge; Mal (Stephen Dillane), is a man who lives in the shadows and explodes with telling, quick violence. As the hostage situation escalates, so do the emotional stakes for each of these damaged, prideful men. Combining the coruscating menace and wit of Sexy Beast with the bold storytelling of Trainspotting and the razor-sharp conflicts of Reservoir Dogs, 44 INCH CHEST marks the debut feature of noted photographer and filmmaker Malcolm Venville, and is produced by Richard Brown and Steve Golin, who with Babel, Being John Malkovich, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, among many others, has specialized in innovative pictures that take challenging risks to reap major rewards.
