Adam Cassidy (Liam Hemsworth) is an ambitious but low-level employee at booming high-tech company Wyatt Telecom. After he is unfairly fired, Adam slyly diverts company funds to throw a huge going away party but is quickly caught by maverick CEO Nicolas Wyatt (Gary Oldman). Wyatt gives Adam a choice: go to prison for embezzlement, or become a spy in the headquarters of their chief competitor Trion Systems under rival CEO, industry elder-statesman Jack Goddard (Harrison Ford). Blackmailed into corporate espionage, Adam finds himself trapped in a world where nothing is as it seems and no one can be trusted, discovering just how far some executives will go to keep company secrets.
