Eli Shibley

President, International Distribution & Co-Productions, IM Global Television

Eli Shibley, President of International Distribution and Co-Productions, runs global sales, acquisitions, and co-productions for Global Road (FKA IM Global Television), where he has developed a successful business with an emphasis on bringing high-end content to television screens around the world.

In 2015 Shibley joined IM Global Television where he has worked on numerous high profile projects including Michael Jackson’s Halloween, which premiered on CBS Primetime this fall, The Putin Interviews directed by Oliver Stone, and Ice directed by Antoine Fuqua.  Additionally, he also helped secure an overall distribution deal for Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, and Chris Henchy’s Funny or Die Original Digital Content Library and helped broker an overall deal with Eli Holzman’s The Intellectual Property Corporation.

Prior to joining IM Global Televison, Shibley was Senior Vice President at Electus, where he launched Electus International. At Electus, Shibley looked after sales for the UK and Northern Europe, but also took the lead in the acquisition of international formats, where he sourced and brokered a deal for Emmy-nominated and Golden Globe-winning Jane the Virgin, amongst many others.

Before Electus, Shibley was pegged to launch Shine International’s London-based sales team, where he led sales on iconic properties including Masterchef and The Biggest Loser. Shibley got his start in entertainment as an Agent Trainee in TV Lit for Paradigm after graduating with a BA in Sociology from Harvard University.
